The interFRONTIERS Board of Directors

interFRONTIERS has been formed by a team of professionals who have held top positions with IT and blue chip organisations of other sectors in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. They have brought extensive experience in the areas of sales, marketing, product, and channel and brand management to the company.

In addition to the wide range of skills they possess, our people have the practical experience of working in a diverse set of markets and consequently have the ability to manage a complex multi-cultural environment. Creating rewarding business partnership relations is the core strength of the interFRONTIERS team.




  Lenia

Lenia Iacovides
Managing Director, interFRONTIERS


Lenia Iacovides is the founder and Managing Director of interFRONTIERS Services Ltd,. She is based at the interFRONTIERS offices in Nicosia from which she manages the sales, pre sales, marketing, product and bids & tenders team that has responsibility of the above-mentioned regions.

Prior to interFRONTIERS Services Ltd, Lenia has served for 6 years as the Emerging Markets Director for Gateway. She was responsible for market share growth in developing international markets in EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa), a region which stretched from Russia to South Africa, managing Eastern Europe, Southern Europe, the Middle East, Egypt, the Lower Gulf, the Near East as well as Africa. Under her management, Gateway SEEMEA (South Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa) developed from a one-person operation in 1996 to a multi-million dollar concern in 2000.
Before joining Gateway in 1996, she had been in charge of the Middle Eastern PC sales and financial organisations of AT&T and NCR respectively.

Lenia brings to interFRONTIERS 20 years of experience in Multinational companies, spanning from financial management to sales, marketing, business development as well as general management.

Lenia had also worked as a chartered accountant for Moore Stevens and Co in the UK.

Lenia has a B.A. in Economics and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales and the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus.


 

Christina Stylianou
Director, Sales & Marketing Business 2 Consumer


Responsible for the Business 2 Consumer Division of interFRONTIERS, Christina heads the business of Data design Interactive, Empire Interactive and FOCUS Multimedia. Christina and her team are responsible for building the business of the above brands in the terrotory through the appointment and management of reseller and distributors.Prior to interFRONTIERS Services Ltd, Christina was the Marketing Manager for Gateway SEEMEA (South East Europe, Middle East and Africa)Prior to Gateway, Christina worked with Rothmans and British American Tobacco as Brand Manager and has in depth experience of brand building not only from her days with Rothmans and BAT, but also through her experience with Bates International in UK where she worked as International Account Manager, responsible for the development and implementation of international campaigns.

Christina holds an MA in Marketing Management.


 

 

Demes Strouthos
Director, Sales Business 2 Business


Detailed and with excellent reseller relationships, Demes is the Sales Director of interFRONTIERS Services Ltd responsible for Corporate Accounts and Bids & Tenders. Prior to interFRONTIERS, Demes started with Gateway when the office was just 4 people, as a Business Development Manager, moved to Sales Manager. Demes has more than 12 years experience in IT Technology Development. He worked with G&P, the distributor of Dell, NCR and Canon where his primary responsibilities were to promote DELL and NCR (formerly AT&T Global Information Solutions) PC’s and Servers (Product Manager) and developing and executing PC sales plans for all Major Accounts and prior to that he worked for WPC Ltd, the IBM, Compaq and ACER dealer executing sales plans for Semi-Government Organizations, Offshore Companies and Major Private Companies.

Demes holds an MSC in Mechanical Engineering


 

 

Vakis Chimonides
Director, Product Sales Marketing


Vakis Chimonides is the Director of Product Marketing for interFRONTIERS interconnect LTD, responsible for the introduction of the NEC Computers line of products in the region. Prior to interFRONTIERS, Vakis was the Senior Product Manager of Gateway at the European Headquarters in Dublin. His task was to introduce to EMEA and manage the Server and Business Desktop line of products with total responsibility for their P&L’s. Among his responsibilities included setting the pricing and margin strategy for the EMEA region, product line per country, business planning and forecasting.

Vakis holds an MBA and a BEng in Computer Engineering with Honors.
